The Businessmen’s Advance was born out of a desire to encourage Christians involved in business to deepen their personal walk with the Lord and to use the platform He has given them for His purposes. In other words, the need to impact hearts and lives for eternity must be considered by everyone, regardless of their station in life. Part of this burden is to strengthen the bonds between the pastor and the business people in the local church. We are so desirous for pastors and business people from the same church to attend that we offer free registration for each pastor who brings at least three businessmen from his church.
Each year speakers are carefully chosen so that a healthy mix of ministry and business experience is shared with those who attend.
The conference is held at the beautiful Four Seasons Resort in Pembine, Wisconsin just twenty minutes from Northland. The schedule allows for free time to work or relax, great meals, activities like night golf played with glow-in-the-dark balls, a tour of Northland Ministries in addition to the speaking/preaching sessions. The Advance ends at noon on Saturday to accommodate travel home for Sunday services.

The ministries operated by Northland Mission Incorporated are Northland International University, Northland Camp and Conference Center, and Pioneer Christian School. Within Northland International University, the University operates Northland Baptist Bible College, Northland Center for Global Opportunities, Northland Graduate School, and Northland Online. Northland Baptist Bible College is a conservative Christian college preparing the next generation of servant leaders for great commission living.
